JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Medical Director and COO our Fellowship-trained Neuro Ophthalmologist will manage visual problems that are related to the nervous system with demonstrated expertise in management of pathology of the eye, brain, nerves and extraocular muscles.

DUTIES:

  • Diagnosis, treatment, and management of neurological conditions and disorders that affect the visual .
  • Provide complete eye examination, including visual field tests.
  • Review records and scans from previous evaluations, if applicable.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES (IF APPLICABLE):

  • Eye Exams (Using both traditional phoroptors and EPIC workstations)
  • Diagnostics (Slit Lamps, Visual Fields, OCT's, Fundus Photos, etc.)
  • Dry Eye Services (BlephEx, LipiFlow, Product Sales)
  • Patient Education
  • Contact Lenses
  • Stellar Optical Sales Capture Rates
  • Ensure All Patients Are Treated with Dignity And Respect

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have completed a Neuro-Ophthalmology Fellowship.
  • Applicants must be board certified or eligible in neurology or ophthalmology.
  • Candidates must possess or be eligible for licensure in Florida.
  • Neuro-ophthalmology experience is preferred, and newly completed fellowships are encouraged to apply.
